Mycelial fermentations

ABER Instruments’ technology is established for monitoring filamentous bacterial cells (e.g. Streptomyces Virginiae, Saccharopolyspora erythraea) and various fungi. As well as providing an accurate cell growth profile it can also provide real-time data on morphological changes (such as hyphal and filamentous growth, production and lysis during fermentation) the traditionally would only be detectable by off-line sampling and microscopy.
