At the 3rd World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology at Toronto, Aber Instruments displayed the latest Biomass Monitor 200 for live cell measurement during fermentation.  The Aber products are already used in industrial ethanol plants in North America and with many new unique bio-procoducts being developed, the Biomass Monitor provides an ideal system for monitoring or controlling the process.

The Biomass Monitor , however,was not the only attractive item on display!  In an attempt to "make green sexy", models stalked the runway in designer clothes made from fermented corn sugar.
