At Brau 2004, Aber Instruments will be showing their complete range of on-line instrumentation for measuring the live yeast cell concentration in a range of brewery applications.
On display will be the on-line Yeast Monitor 730 with "Flush Electrode" probes designed for measuring yeast in fermenters and propagators. The probe can be cleaned or steamed in place and is inserted either into the side of the vessel or into a re-circulation loop. There is also an option for submerging the probes to the bottom of production fermenters to study the distribution of yeast during fermentation.
Aber Instruments will also be promoting the use of Multiplexed Yeast Monitors for both yeast pitching rate control and cropping. New brochures on the "Yeast Monitor 730" and "Yeast Recovery Solutions"
John Carvell will be available throughout the show to discuss specific application issues and to provide information about the full range of Aber systems.
